Reflection has a purpose. You ask a question, write honestly, learn something, and move on.
Rumination has no finish line. It circles the same thoughts, searching for answers that never arrive.
A self-audit gives your thinking structure. You pause, reflect, write, and close the page. The insight stays with you, but the mental loop doesn't.
If you're thinking about the same problem over and over, don't think harder. Reach for a better question.
